Manufacturing Standards

All our woven materials and leather accessories have been made by the finest of craftsmen in our supplier’s factory, which we are inspecting twice a year.

All the leathers that we use are of the highest quality and sourced from Europe’s most prestigious tanneries based in Switzerland, France, Italy and UK.

The skins are all tanned, dyed and aged by hand using special finishes, waxes, coatings and colorants, both shiny and transparent.

Because of the particular and very special type of workmanship and its process, our products may in some parts present slight variations in shade, colour or texture.

Please be assured that this is a normal result of the high quality craftsmanship.

This is a characteristic of the completed product and not a defect.

We assure you that our products are hand-lasted and manufactured by high quality craftsmen in our European factories.

Note we never use countries employing children or cheap labour, nor do we use any country using unethical or dangerous working environments or trading standards.

Please be aware of cheap and poor quality copies or imitations of our unique trademarked brand name Fifi de Lyon.

We pledge to only use European leathers, skins and any other materials, ethically sourced and beautifully produced.
