You heard it over the past two-three years now. YES, colour is making a big comeback in our homes. The thing about decorating with bright colours is that people are scared of it.. Which often results into "turning more space in neutral colours" than you originally wanted to.

But decorating with bright colours is easier than you might think. Promise.

If you’re the type of person that is colour-shy, start off by incorporating a selected amount of bright accents into your scheme. Cushions and throws, for me, have always been a fan-tas-tic way to do this, as they make an instant impact. Plus, they are affordable and easy to change when you decide it’s time for a new look.

I shortlisted below my new chouchou brands, spotted earlier on this year at a trade show in London!.. Let me know your thoughts... And don't forget to visit our "browse & shop" page for more Fifi de Lyon accessories too! :) Much love et des bisous x

Berlingot Cushion is part of the LES ETERNELS COLLECTION. Our Berlingot cushion was named after the pyramidal hard and translucent candy from Carpentras, in France. It is made out of a fabulous Jacquard fabric with a refined satin feel. A legend says that in the fourteenth century, it was a baker of Pope Clement V residing in Carpentras, which to celebrate the dissolution of the Knights Templar, made a special sweet. It would be during a banquet, a man named Sylvester, who prepared a caramelized custard was found with a quantity of unused syrup. He had the idea to anneal the caramel by adding lemon and mint. He stretched into sticks and offered to the Pope with the words: "Honour to Bertrand de Got (the real name of Clement V), cutting with scissors gold", which gave plain language Ber-lin-got.
